  • What do you actually do at D3?

    Client service, negotiation, strategy & planning, a chat & a laugh, and try and treat myself to a couple of hot coffees

    What makes you invaluable to D3?

    I’ve got 15 years of experience in media, having managed strategy, planning and buying across a huge variety of accounts, from banking to government, make-up to FMCG, technology to retail; across all media channels. I spent 4 years in London at a top global media agency working in a fast-paced trading team, which set me up with excellent negotiation, strategy and client servicing skills which have been invaluable in the New Zealand market. My background is in traditional media so I like to think I have some expert advice to share with the team in this area. I have been recognised with industry awards for my work both in the UK and in New Zealand.

    What do you do to put your clients’ needs and results first?

    I always put myself in my clients’ shoes and think about what I would want from my agency - clarity, honesty, excellence, approachability, attentiveness, respect - and ensure this is the level of service that I always provide. I have the confidence to challenge, and the passion to learn; it’s important to me that I really understand the dynamics, opportunities and challenges that are at play, in order to do the best job possible on my clients’ behalf.

    What has been your biggest success since joining D3?

    Being able to balance my work at D3 with my 3 daughters at home, so when I’m at work I’m making the most of every minute to make sure I can fly out the door in time for kindy pick up!

    Commitment - as the sign above an old colleague's desk once said, ‘go hard or go home!’

    If you had a superpower what would it be?

    Flying - how amazing to see the world from above and be as free as a bird!
